Bill Richards, the "Grandfather of No-Till," was a lifelong advocate for conservation practices in agriculture. He believed that every producer has the duty to use the best available technology to protect soil, water, and other natural resources, and we continue to adopt these practices on the family farm that Bill and Grace started.
Bill enjoyed teaching others about conservation agriculture, speaking to a wide range of audiences: farm, university, industry, and government. In this spirit of the curiosity fostered by both Bill and Grace, our primary purpose is to help further agricultural engagement through education and hospitality.
